摘要: This article contributes to the creative city–community development arts policy debate by examining association of organizations various neighborhood contexts in New York City. Results from multivariate regression analyses show that regardless type are positioned serve class rather than play a community role. Notably, only small subset locally focused and with smaller expenditures locate disadvantaged immigrant neighborhoods where they might direct role development. Instead, most tend highly urbanized, amenities-rich areas young working singles industries. These findings raise important questions for incorporating into planning efforts.
