摘要: Deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), the structural basis of genetics, plays a crucial role in life cells. The abnormal behaviors DNA are closely related to pathological changes living organisms. advent atomic force microscopy (AFM) provides an exciting instrument for biophysically probing nanoscale dynamic activities individual native molecules, considerably complementing results obtained by traditional biochemical population-averaged measurements. In past decades, AFM has been widely used studies, significantly providing novel insights into molecular biology. this paper, methodologies and progresses utilizing characterize molecules from several facets (including topography imaging, mechanics measurements, origami, nanorobotics) reviewed, future directions discussed.
