摘要: Today researchers and clinicians are seeking the most sensitive means to indicate potential toxicity of chemicals in an attempt prevent harmful human effects. Behavioral measurements may serve as earliest indicators that some, yet covert, toxic action has occurred—perhaps at a time when process can still be reversed. A key concept is effects manifest subtle disturbances behavior long before any classical symptoms poisoning become apparent.
