摘要: Advance directives (ADs) are planning tools, usually in form of written statements, that enable individuals to preserve control over the decision making process circumstances where they no longer capable decisions due serious illness. It can either be a living will, which clearly expresses an individual’s refusal or acceptance certain treatments, such resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, tube feeding, etc., appointment durable power attorney, who is empowered make health care on patient’s behalf when patient competent.
