摘要: Fish starvation is defined as food deprivation for a long period of time, such that physiological processes become confined to basal metabolism. Starvation provides insights in without interference from unknown factors digestion and nutrient absorption occurring fed state. Juveniles amberjack Seriola lalandi were isotopically equilibrated formulated diet 60 days. One treatment consisted fish continued be the other not 35 The isotopic signatures prior beginning after period, control treatments, analysed lipid content, fatty acid composition analysis bulk (EA-IRMS) amino acids (compound specific isotope analysis, CSIA). There three replicates group. Fatty content muscle liver tissue before was determined calculate percent change. Results showed crude most used source energy cases; PUFAs LC-PUFAs highly conserved. According protein signature (δ15N) per (δ13C δ15N), tissue, synthesis did appear occur substantially during starvation, whereas liver, increases δ13C δ15N indicate turnover occurred, probably metabolic routing energy-yielding processes. As result, values do change, CSIA net change occurred tissue. During study days, largely conserved, being neither replenished pools plasma nor catabolized.
