摘要: In a time of financial constraints, Harvard Medical School's Countway Library has found way to acquire additional funding expand its services while integrating librarians further into the medical school organization. This paper describes contractual arrangement between library and department shows how professional librarian can be integrated institutional environment take on new roles that are both meaningful satisfying. As liaison curriculum development school, was involved in planning, software support, computing facility support. Increased understanding cooperation evolved contracting departments, problems encountered by have been minor. The not only successful but also provided model for future outreach projects.
