摘要: Stereotypically, anger is associated more with males than females, yet self-report and observational measures have not unequivocally revealed gender-related differences in expression. To explore this contradiction, male (n=21)and female (n=23) college students were asked to describe incidents they had witnessed that involved either a known person or stranger. Students recalled situations which someone became angry then series of questions regarding the incident. The gender described was noted participants involving other gender. Findings respect mixed. When describing an incident stranger, likely recall expressing anger. episode them, pattern consistent findings based on measures, usually yield no expression, apparent.
