摘要: As discussed in previous chapters, the rapid growth of MCMA’s population, motor vehicle fleet, and industrial activity over latter half 20th Century combined with city’s meteorological topographical situation has produced extraordinary levels air pollution. The MCMA is today one world’s five largest cities. Until recently, it also held dubious distinction being most polluted cities, suffering from serious ozone particulate pollution for much year.
