摘要: Because of the large variety materials and material forms available, organic are attractive candidates for ultrafast nonlinear optical signal processing systems based on intensity-dependent index refraction, i.e., change refraction with a in applied intensity. As an example, we consider polymeric system, polydi-acetylenes. Through molecular engineering (organic synthesis Langmuir-Blodgett film growth combined monolayer deposition techniques), polydiacetylene was prepared technologically important format planar waveguide grating. By measuring angle that incident laser radiation couples into guided-wave mode (via grating) intensity radiation, determined to be 10-6 (MW/cm2)-1 transparent region material.
