摘要: It has been variously suggested that the organic matrix associated with mineral phase of enamel is present as either calcified fibrils, central dark lines, peripheral sheaths around hexagonal crystals, or ghosts apparently contained within crystal profiles. The most consistent findings confirm ghost conception. Grid decalcification nearly mature sectioned and staining revealed hollow, noncrystalline structures whose external measurements were statistically identical to those dissolved crystallites, but internal too small accommodate crystallites. To explain these apparent in view incompatibility structure, it proposed crystallites are not cross-sections appearance due projections parallelepiped-shaped crystallite segments cut surfaces rhombiodal shape. Material on surface such profiles would project if profile. Hexagonal forms could be demonstrated isolated examined by transmission electron microscopy, high-resolution scanning replicas made preparations microscopy. Existing evidence does rule out possibility represent stain drawn into holes left a result high capillarity forces.
