An appraisal of a decision tree approach to image classification

摘要: This paper investigates the applicability to a shape-recognition problem of concept learning algorithm which generates decision rules from examples. A comprehensive analysis this applied an industrial vision is described. has no obvious 'best' solution and much effort been devoted performing realistic appraisal by making detailed set comparisons with performances appropriate alternative classifiers. Results presented show be comparable in performance classifiers but superior terms both cost classification also intelligibility solution.
