摘要: In this work, we use coarse-grained modeling to study the free solution electrophoretic mobility of small highly charged peptides (lysine, arginine, and short oligos thereof (up nonapeptides)) in NaCl Na2SO4 aqueous solutions at neutral pH room temperature. The experimental data are taken from literature. A bead methodology that treats electrostatics level nonlinear Poisson Boltzmann equation developed previously our laboratory is able account for all NaCl, but not Na2SO4. peptide mobilities can be accounted by including sulfate binding model proposed as one possible explanation discrepancy. Oligo arginine bind more than oligo lysines increases with length.
