摘要: A method for clipping two and three dimensional graphic primitives use in a computer graphics workstation. During the first stage, system removes all which lie outside an arbitrary volume or window that is enlargement of desired viewing window. This (window) then projected mapped onto virtual viewport larger than real viewport. After this mapping occurs, rendering effects (such as line styles, width, pattern fill, hatch etc.) are applied to primitive. subsequent stage clip user's visible area. Use during makes it simpler transform geometric partially viewer, gives richer set invariant properties so their may be more easily correctly carried out.
