摘要: An enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) detected chlamydial antibodies in human sera. The antigen produced cell cultures infected with Chlamydia psittaci was Formalin-fixed to microplates. Single convalescent-phase sera positive for by a complement-fixation test were at even higher dilutions ELISA. Paired diagnostic rises complement-fixing antibody showed seroconversion ELISA also. Control from persons no history of infection negative both tests. Sera patients psittacosis or lymphogranuloma venereum positive, indicating that the used this study is genus specific rather than species specific.
