摘要: Earth observation data and in situ measurements were used to derive a method for the estimation of Air Temperature(AirT) thereby produce maps. The methodology was developed validated using acquired at five stations located United Arab Emirates(UAE) during year 2012. In first step, effect different variables on AirT values investigated high importance build final model. Land surface temperature (LST), relative humidity, global horizontal irradiance, direct normal diffuse irradiance identified as most important inputs Testimation. Finally, model has been applied larger scale by assimilating relevant creation maps entire country. generated near real temporal resolution 15 min from METEOSAT/SEVIRI LST above-mentioned measurements. These can be considered resources several applications (e.g, climate studies, solar energy applications, thermal comfort etc.).
