摘要: Most publications on the capacity and performance of wireless ad hoc networks share underlying assumption a uniform random distribution nodes. In this paper, we study effects different node distributions local throughput slotted ALOHA MAC protocol. The achieved in network where nodes are distributed according to Poisson point process is used as baseline measure for comparison with other distributions. Our simulations show that non-uniform have strong impact which related performance. This means topology should be taken into account more detailed analyses hoc, sensor, mesh networks.
