摘要: Thirty preterm infants were randomly assigned to one of three milk temperature groups: 37 degrees C, 24 and 10 C. Infants fed by gavage every two hours, gastric residuals measured immediately prior the next feeding. Feeding tolerance was determined dividing volume residual total Abdominal axillary skin temperatures monitored half-hourly. Tolerance differed significantly among groups, using ANCOVA, F(2, 26) = 41.06, p < .01, accounting for 75 percent variance shared. Post hoc Scheffe's procedure on adjusted means indicated that warmer (BT group) had smaller (6 percent) than those colder (RT group, 22 CT 18 percent). No significant differences in body any groups found. Warming may promote greater feeding VLBW infant (< or 1,500 gm). Results from this study provide objective data will help nurses optimal nutrition infants.
