摘要: Abstract African Swine Fever (ASF) is a transboundary animal disease of pigs and wild suids that appeared in Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR) mid-2019, having spread across China Vietnam the months prior. Despite scale Asian ASF pandemic availability pen-side rapid diagnostic tests (RDT) on market, few locally produced easily available RDTs have been evaluated for accuracy. In this study, an antigen detection RDT from Shenzhen Lvshiyuan Biotechnology Co. Ltd was using clinical field samples submitted to National Animal Health Laboratory (NAHL) suspect cases between June December 2019 PDR. Positive (n = 57) negative (n = 50) whole blood, serum haemolysed were assessed by PCR, with latter used as gold standard reference comparator. Overall had sensitivity (DSe) 65 %, 95 % CI [51–77] specificity (DSp) 76 [62–87]. The demonstrated improved performance lower PCR cycle threshold (ct) values each additional reducing odds returning positive 17 relative previous cycle, [8 %–28 %] (P
