摘要: Abstract The purposes of this study were to identify the relationships between risk-taking behavior, response inhibition, and risky motorcycle riding behavior commuter motorcyclists with different levels impulsivity, examine how these behaviors contribute accidents. A total 255 Chinese recruited for study. Their impulsivity classified according Barratt Impulsiveness Scale version 11th. was assessed by Balloon Analogue Risk Task their inhibition Stroop test Victoria version. Motorcycle Rider Driving Violation used assess behaviors. Results showed that associated riding. Highly impulsive carry out more are less able inhibit responses than those low impulsivity. Motorcyclists medium (OR, 4.74; 95% CI, 1.91–11.39) high 4.91; 2.34–10.24) about 5 times likely be actively involved in accidents Postlicense experience two significant predictors traffic after controlling other sociodemographic variables. These results can facilitate development interventions, including training testing motorcyclists, public education, mass media messages risk.
