摘要: The current study presents a rapid review of the psychometric features standard Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA), and proposal for modified version test, informed by methodology Boston Process Approach to neuropsychological assessment. In order aid process identification primary underlying neurocognitive mechanism responsible defective test performance, MoCA-Process-Based (MoCA-PA) adds complementary or satellite conditions in some its subtests, includes "new" qualitative indices capture cognitive processes involved each task, incorporates new classifications error subtypes. It provides concurrent assessment multiple within without significantly increasing administration time placing significant additional burden upon respondent. We present preliminary results obtained from an initial sample 45 community-dwelling older adults attending University program seniors. Results suggest usefulness providing information on deterioration that may be overlooked with only consideration quantitative scores. Future research will aim collect normative data different clinical populations using newly developed determine validity utility relatively novel process-based methods used MoCA-PA.
