摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the principles, applications, and limitations of difference optical rotatory dispersion (ORD) circular dichroism (CD) techniques. The currently available spectropolarimeters dichrometers utilize a single-beam system. In Cary 60 spectropolarimeter, however, folded beam is capable making ORD measurement by means specially designed cell holder. same principle applied to 61 dichrometer with slight modifications for CD measurement. technique can be useful tool measuring small changes in rotation protein solutions under various conditions, such as pH temperature addition denaturing agents, even though one may not know precisely mechanism conformational or configurational changes. method particularly measurements wavelength ranges where are transparent light beam.
