摘要: HSP and molecular chaperones, both referred to in this chapter as are key players development senescence. With regard senescence, several issues critical: the role of normal chaperones process ageing itself preventing controlling age-associated diseases, defective (chaperonopathies) onset progression senescence etiology old-age interaction with immune system, potential therapeutic agents for counteracting deleterious effects on molecules cells treating proteinopathies elderly (chaperonotherapy). All these discussed chapter, focusing Hsp60 Hsp10 (referred chaperonins purposes article) by examining a sample publications dealing pathological conditions prevalent aged individuals, such atherosclerosis coronary syndromes, neurodegenerative degenerative joint disorders, diabetes, chronic occlusive pulmonary disease, glaucoma (cancer is omitted because it has recently been extensively elsewhere). The data show that undergo changes levels distribution inside tissues, including invasion extracellular space plasma, age health status relation specific pathologies. physiological and/or significance not yet fully understood but being actively investigated. chaperonopathies, particularly those due aberrant post-translational modifications related stressors ROS, aggravation ought be examined detail near future. Studies mechanisms which (molecular chaperonopathies) accelerate contribute pathogenesis and, thus, disease (clinical should provide information useful developing diagnostic means based chaperone genes proteins
