摘要: A magnetically-attractive specimen-container rack for use with a magnetic transport system transporting racks of specimen-containers to or within an automated clinical instrument analysis and/or processing. The comprises pair U-shaped members mounted in the base section housing so that distal ends such extend towards and terminate plane slightly short which is supported movement atop rack-supporting surface. Such are adapted cooperate similarly-shaped permanent magnets carried by X/Y-movable truck underlies non-magnetic plate. Other features include side-pockets formed one side vicinity end walls housing, pockets serving receive movably-mounted member associated linear drive mechanism can be physically advanced edgewise along path; notch structure releasably engaged plate serves lift invert effect mixing contained specimens.
