摘要: Purpose Isolated basilar artery dissection (BAD) is a rare cause of ischemic stroke. Since the clinical presentations and imaging findings could be non-specific subtle, diagnosis may difficult. Here, we presented four cases isolated BAD with acute Case report Four patients (age, 22 to 57 years) experienced onset hemiparesis and/or vertigo half them having initial headache. Acute infarct was noted at pons or thalamus. Three needed more than one modality serial follow-up confirm BAD. Vascular tapering false lumen restrictive were commonest findings. our received anticoagulant without recurrent hemorrhagic complication. All had good functional outcome modified Ranking scale scoring 1. Conclusion variable manifestations can favorable. Application different advanced studies image are useful diagnosis.
