摘要: Almost monodisperse, crystalline Bi nanoparticle arrays were synthesized using a newly developed method, magnetically assisted growth of nanoparticles (MAGBINs). The MAGBIN utilizes co-sputtering from and Co targets at an elevated temperature. Crystalline with hexagonal morphology formed in situ on Si substrate thin surface oxide during this process. size density could be controlled by adjusting the relative powers applied to targets, they showed opposite trends against powers. Several physical processes such as agglomeration, element-selective growth, Ostwald ripening proposed involved growth. is facile method synthesize arrays, which does not need any chemical agents, complex process, or lithography.
