摘要: The olive tree is generally characterized by relatively low final fruit set consequential to a significant rate of undeveloped pistils, pistil abortion, and flower fruitlet abscission. These processes are acknowledged be governed competition for resources between the developing vegetative reproductive organs. To study role phosphorus (P) nutritional level on development, trees were grown under four levels P three years in large containers. Phosphorus was positively related bud break, inflorescence weight, hermaphrodite flowers, persistence, total number fruits. positive impact nutrition productivity parameters not carbohydrate reserves or transport inflorescence. Phosphorous deficient showed impairment assimilation rate, yet, carbohydrates accumulated inflorescences at comparable higher than receiving high P. In contrast female organs, pollen viability consistently trees, possibly due enhanced availability. Overall, effect development found independent Hence, speculated have direct influence processes.
