摘要: Bertha armyworm Mamestra configurata Walker (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) is a generalist herbivore that feeds on several crops in different plant families. Canola Brassica napus L. (Capparales: Brassicaceae) one of the most favored host plants making bertha significant insect pest Canadian Prairie Provinces. The performance canola may vary with quality plant. We tested impact nutrition and variety oviposition subsequent larval development armyworm. A range fertilization levels (0.0, 1.0, 3.0, 5.0 g/pot) were applied to three varieties: Clearfield 5535 CL, Roundup Ready hybrid 6060RR, Q2. total number eggs laid no-choice experiment increased fertilizer level but similar received moderate high treatments. Larvae reared application yielded heavier pupae than those low Most Q2 when compared CL 6060 RR. females preferred lay or over treatment. Plant leaf tissue nutrient content growth highest conclude behavior are influenced by treatment variety.
