摘要: We propose a generalized S-parameter analysis for transmission lines (TLs) with linear/nonlinear load terminations subject to arbitrary plane-wave and port excitations. S-parameters are prevalently used model TLs such as cable bundles interconnects on printed circuit boards (PCBs) The conventional approach is well suited characterize interactions among ports. However, nontraditional excitations associated coupling physical ports at TL terminals lead forced, propagating, modal waves, necessitating modification of the standard characterization. In this paper, we consider external excitations, (internal) sources, hybrid matrix characterization microwave network systems. A key aspect treat forced waves constant voltage sources induced propagating additional entries (hybrid S-parameters) in matrix. resulting S-matrix can be subsequently exported any solver HSPICE Agilent's Advanced Design System combined linear nonlinear proposed method particularly susceptibility PCBs electromagnetic interference evaluations.
