Exploring heterogeneous growth of wind energy across Germany

摘要: Abstract Expansion of renewable energies in Germany is strongly associated with decentralization energy provision. In the case wind there are especially strong regional-level spatial, technical, economic, and social ramifications this source. addition to differing natural conditions push from federal feed-in tariffs, policies initiatives at state, county, municipal level need be considered when explaining pattern expansion across time space improve coordination multi-level policies. This paper uses panel regressions German counties 2001 2012 explore growth power capacity. Based on estimates obtained, we then analyze counterfactual scenarios which factors influenced by regional (county) varied individually.
