摘要: Protists are essential to the function of most aquatic food webs. Photosynthetic protists ranging in size from a few micrometers more than 1 mm produce much organic material available these ecosystems, particularly pelagic ecosystems. In addition, protistan predators up cm major consumers bacterial, cyanobacterial and populations (Sherr & Sherr, 1994).
