摘要: This article reviews the synthesis, reactivity and applications of gold trifluoromethyl complexes, which are only isolated perfluoroalkyl complexes gold. The most reported examples neutral Au(I) type [Au(CF3)L], whereas two Au(II) have been reported, both being diamagnetic containing a strong Au–Au bond. A number Au(III) prepared by oxidative addition halogens or iodotrifluoromethane to or, in few cases, transmetallation reactions. Owing limitations available synthetic methods, lower is known, particularly for oxidation states (II) (III). Gold present singular characteristics, such as thermal stability, Au–C bonds and, some reactive α-C–F bonds. Some show unusually easy reductive elimination reactions trifluoromethylated products could be applied development gold-catalyzed processes trifluoromethylation organic compounds.
