摘要: The vacuolar (H+)-ATPases are ATP-dependent proton pumps that acidify intracellular compartments and, in some cases, transport protons across the plasma membrane of eukaryotic cells. Intracellular V-ATPases play an important role normal physiological processes such as receptor-mediated endocytosis, trafficking, pro-hormone processing, protein degradation, and coupled uptake small molecules, neurotransmitters. They also function entry various pathogenic agents, including many envelope viruses, like influenza virus, toxins, anthrax toxin. Plasma renal pH homeostasis, bone resorption sperm maturation, disease processes, tubular acidosis, osteopetrosis, tumor metastasis. composed a peripheral V1 domain containing eight different subunits is responsible for ATP hydrolysis integral V0 six translocates protons.
