GloMoSim: A Scalable Network Simulation Environment

摘要: Large-scale hybrid networks that include wireless, wired, and satellite based communications are becoming common in both military commercial situations. This paper describes a scalable simulation environment called GloMoSim (for Global Mobile Information System Simulator) effectively utilizes parallel execution to reduce the time of detailed high-fidelity models large communication networks. The also presents set case studies evaluate performance wireless with thousands nodes compares impact different lower layer protocols on typical applications.
