摘要: Abstract Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) is largely used in studying water splitting reaction bipolar membranes (BPMs). This also very important monopolar membrane systems, where it constitutes one of the possible mechanisms overlimiting current conductance. However, despite 60-year research history this domain, there are only a few studies EIS was applied. Apparently, due to poor understanding AC response range charge transfer by electrodiffusion competes with current-induced convection and products transfer. For first time, we propose mathematical description membrane’s spectra associated splitting. We show that these Gerischer type, as case BPMs. The boundary value problem takes into account proton-transfer catalytic mechanism solution good accordance experimental found for an AMX-SB at differenat biased DC currents.
