摘要: A quantum computer using nuclear spins in a crystal lattice requires method for addressing individual bits. This identification can be achieved with spatially varying magnetic field. Spins at different sites have distinguishable Zeeman frequencies allowing initialization, logic operations, and measurements to performed through radio frequency (rf) pulse techniques. Here, we present magnet designs that gradients between 1 20 T/μm, which are necessary realize computation particular crystals.
