摘要: Acute renal failure is a common clinical event affecting 2–5% of all hospitalized patients, and up to 10–30% those in intensive care units (ICUs) [1, 2]. Renal ischemia one the most important antecedent factors acute failure, reported be causative 50% cases [1]. due ischemiareperfusion (I/R) injury seen after transplantation [3, 4], major abdominal vascular surgery [5], coronary bypass [6, 7], trauma [8], sepsis [9]. associated with mortality approximately 50%, rising as high 80% patients postoperative figure which has not changed past decades Several pathophysiological mechanisms underlying have been unraveled recent years. Studies, giving insight into molecular cellular processes leading development are crucial importance further elucidating its pathophysiology, thereby new therapeutic strategies.
