Software Reuse and Reusability Metrics and Models

摘要: As organizations implement systematic software reuse programs to improve productivity and quality, they must be able measure their progress identify the most effective strategies. This is done with metrics models. In this paper, we survey models of reusability, provide a classification structure that will help users select them. Six types are reviewed: cost-benefit models, maturity assessment amount metrics, failure modes reusability library metrics.
