Fluctuation of mid‐frequency propagation in shallow water

摘要: As part of the ONR‐sponsored SW06 experiment, mid‐frequency sound propagation was measured at ranges 1‐10 km in frequency band 2‐10 kHz August, 2006. The water depth is 80 m and source 30 m, close to minimum a duct with thermocline above warm salty below. receivers are clustered into two groups, one 25 depth, other 50 m. region has active internal wave activity during this time. Because near axis channel, it observed that dominated by trapped modes behaves similar deep duct. Amplitude fluctuations cross‐frequency correlations estimated. scintillation index as function bandwidth calculated.
