摘要: Age-related alterations in the bioenergetics of heart and oxidative skeletal muscle tissues are crucial influence on their performance. Until now prevailing concept aging was mitochondrial theory, increased production reactive oxygen species, mediated by deficiency activity respiratory chain complexes. However, studies with mitochondria situ have presented results which, to some extent, disagree previous ones, indicating that theory may be overestimated. The reporting age-related decline function were performed using mainly isolated mitochondria. Measurements this level not able take into account system properties. relevant information can obtained only from appropriate cells or tissue fibers. functional interactions between components Intracellular Energetic Unit (ICEU) regulate energy consumption cells. these ICEU should studied order find a more effective protocol decelerate changes taking place metabolism. In article, an overview is given present theories controversies causes bioenergetics. Also, branches study, which need emphasis, indicated.
