摘要: The prevalence and incidence of atopy asthma is increasing in the industrialized world, particularly amongst children [1, 2]. Asthma a chronic disease characterized by variety features including reversible airway obstruction, increased responsiveness to various stimuli, inflammation. Various animal models (see accompanying chapters) have been established mimic study specific aspects human asthmatic response. This chapter discusses similarities between allergic rabbit model condition hence value for investigation pathophysiology development novel therapeutic agents.
