摘要: Summary form only given. Wavelength conversion has been the subject of much research in recent years. Various methods have studied with use optical nonlinearities either semiconductors or fibers. We introduce a novel technique based on four-wave mixing (FWM) fibers, which potential for achieving unit efficiency. It involves spectrum translation, not inversion phase conjugation. is widely tunable and can, principle, shift wavelengths by tens even hundreds nanometers. can also perform function, namely, complete exchange power between two wavelengths.
