摘要: We examined the applicability of radiotelemetry to studies acorn dispersal byApodemus mice and compared its efficiency with this spool-and-line method. Installation a transmitter (2.2 g) onto acorns did not interfere transporting feeding behavior mice. were able detect all transmitter-installed follow daily changes in sites which they hoarded, while we missed 59% spool-tied due breaking threads. Mice carried farther than ones. The method is superior useful for study hoarding rodents.
