摘要: Abstract As an introduction to the papers of this special issue on Consequences Economic Inequality we first underline with a simple empirical exercise relevance studying subject consequences economic inequality in many socially important fields. Next, sketch two main theoretical perspectives channels by which exerts its effects: one hand, psychosocial, stresses role individual status and stratification, and, other neo-material, puts focus resources at people's disposal. In our view are not mutually exclusive. Thirdly, present each contributions relate their results these perspectives. We find support for that can magnify only differences between individuals or households disposal, but also association politics, well-being social stratification.
