摘要: Abstract Contradictory findings concerning relationships between intelligence-test scores and different EEG evoked-potential (EP) measures have been reported. The positive suggest that intelligence is correlated with the number amplitude of components in EP waveform. Since there evidence both these parameters are influenced by stimulus intensity, we examined extent to which an EP/intelligence relationship may depend on intensity. In a sample 22 S s was found magnitude this correlation related systematically maximum ( r = 0.69) Raven's Advanced Progressive Matrices obtained at intermediate level These account for some inconsistencies literature. Moreover, they explanation higher general terms greater central activation neural processes response normal levels stimulation.
