摘要: Skulls of 631 martens (Martes americana), 810 fishers pennanti), and 373 otters (Lutra canadensis) collected throughout Ontario were examined for frontal bone lesions possibly induced by sinus nematodes the genus Skrjabingylus. No found in marten skulls. Lesions present 13.4% otter skulls their distribution was similar between sexes among age-groups. Among fishers, 11.6% exhibited lesions. Frequency tended to increase with age, adult male had fewer than females. characterized discolouration, swelling, perforation bones descending order frequency. largely confined pars temporalis a small number also on frontalis.
