摘要: African trypanosomosis is a chronic debilitating disease affecting the health and economic well-being of developing countries. The immune response during trypanosome infection consisting strong proinflammatory M1-type activation myeloid phagocyte system (MYPS) results in iron deprivation for these extracellular parasites. Yet, persistence MYPS causes development anemia (anemia disease, ACD) as most prominent pathological parameter mammalian host, due to enhanced erythrophagocytosis retention within thereby depriving erythropoiesis. In this review we give an overview how parasites acquire from host modulation affects trypanosomosis-associated development. Finally, also discuss different strategies at level both parasite that can/might be used modulate availability infections.
