Rational design of sandwich-like exfoliated nickel hydroxide–carbon nanotubes as a novel electrode for supercapacitors

摘要: A composite of nickel hydroxide–carbon nanotubes (Ni(OH)2–CNTs) was successfully fabricated as an electrode material for supercapacitors. The Ni(OH)2–CNTs nanocomposite synthesized by the preparation layered Ni(OH)2 followed exfoliation in formamide solution, which then combined with CNTs through electrostatic assembly method. structure can not only expand area contact electrolyte ions but could also highly improve conductivity. During this period, methods such XRD, SEM and TEM revealed morphology product. as-prepared exhibits a high specific capacitance 865.79 F g−1 good cycling stability over 3000 cycles. product is expected to become ideal supercapacitor.
