摘要: Abstract Extractions/applications of plant-resources were investigated in Mestizo communities the Jenaro Herrera district, Peruvian Amazon. Knowledge differences between genders on forest resource uses also examined. Two methods applied: (1) a survey based structured interviews ten informants potential 334 pre-selected trees and lianas permanent sample plots, 20 male female concerning 85 lianas; (2) household recording extracted materials or near dwellings 73 families. The conclusions are: (i) most products are from limited number species, whereas large species is mentioned as important/potentially useful for identical purposes; (ii) coherence exists their abundance easily accessible formations; (iii) knowledge resources gender correlated; (iv) combination collection information use extraction plant provides more detailed profound results than using each method separately.
