摘要: Abstract More than 26.8 billion tonnes of normal concrete is used globally every year, which in turn creates an overwhelming amount construction and demolition waste. Although recycled aggregate well recognised as a sustainable material that offers solutions to this problem, it regarded inferior natural terms its structural properties. By adding steel fibre aggregate, structurally sound can be obtained. But the cost effectiveness optimum combination, when compared unknown. This research aims analyse combination for secondary beam. Firstly, experimental study was conducted determine followed by benefit analysis discover direct/indirect costs benefits aggregate. Interviews were undertaken with practitioners six recycling plants Sydney. The found through experiment 30% replacement addition 0.6% fibre. showed savings per beam due nearly 2.5 times high increase considered typical design. These results confirmed additional utilising could offset considerably quantified mixture. reported paper scientifically significant introduction new material, has considerable benefits. recommendations all parties concerned processes such policy makers, facilities, builders, clients designers promote material.
