摘要: One of the most significant complexities managing concurrent engineering (CE) projects is identification and mitigation project risks. The challenges that managers encounter are compounded by constantly evolving business requirements large volumes data involved in such projects. In this research, rapid prototyping techniques were used to accelerate process developing prototypes a web-based risk management system address challenges. Based on concept Model-Driven Architecture (MDA), InfoMAP (Information Modeling Application Prototyping) was developed as an Eclipse Framework (EMF)-based Rich Client Platform (RCP) application encapsulate relationships between information components. particular, properties types parameterized facilitate quantitative qualitative refinements. models made up maps, which consist alternating actions entities (Zhou, 1996). these generate structures template-based user interfaces at run-time. There four main system: context establishment, identification, analysis, monitoring. establishment model helps users identify systemic problems adopt consistent strategies through use shared profiles priorities. contextual information, provides structured guides responding questions determine level risks Using inputs previous two models, analysis suggested likelihood consequence values based historical from uses monitor extract for implement strategies. significance customized according each set model. availability early allowed receive regular updates software provide timely feedback. This iterative engagement identified one key factors contributed success system. final production optimized transforming into platform-specific modules. results evaluated revise its accuracy derivation levels using actual costing past
